| The mission of our training program is to train clinical scientists who wish to become independent investigators in patient-oriented research. This training program offered by UT Southwestern provides in-depth training and direct experience in the conduct of clinical research. We integrate an annual one-day symposium on the techniques of patient-oriented research to include protocol design and development, preparation of informed consent, grant writing, and manuscript preparation with supportive didactic courses in statistics and epidemiology. |
