Flow
Cytometry Core Facility

Description:
|
The
flow cytometry multi-user core facility has south and north campus
locations. The south campus location has two benchtop analyzers: a
FACScan with one laser and three-color capacity, and a FACSCalibur
with two lasers and four-color capacity. There also is a FACStar Plus
cell sorter with two lasers and four-color capacity that includes
either UV or far-red excitation. The north campus location houses
a FACScan benchtop analyzer with three-color capacity.
Facility users are trained to run the benchtop analyzers. Facility
staff perform sorter operations. Fees are $36/hour for independent-user
acquisition and $56/hour for staff acquisition and sorting. Computers
and multiple software packages are available free to users for data
analysis after acquisition. |
