Brief Description of Project:

It is known that hypoxia (lack of oxygen) can impair tumor response to therapy, in particular irradiation. Thus, there is intense interest in developing methods to measure tumor oxygenation and assess changes induced in response to therapeutic interventions. The project will involve assessing tumor oxygenation using fluorescent oxygen probes.
