Brief Description of Project:

A bioresorbable intracoronary stent has been invented that, in addition to providing the mechanical support function, is suitable for drug and gene therapy. Studies are planned this summer to evaluate: 1) the rate of degradation of the stent in vitro and in vivo; 2) the biocompatibility of the stent in short- and long term implantations; drug release profiles in vitro; gene release profiles in vitro
