Brief Description of Project: Penetrating injuries of the musculoskeletal system appear to occur in clusters. To date there have been no investigations into possible causative factors. Due to the large number of these injuries seen at the county hospital, this is a logical environment in which to study this. Charts of patients sustaining orthopaedic penetrating injuries will be reviewed for patient demographics, details of injury event, details of the injury and outcome.
