Brief Description of Project: We are attempting to determine why patients at an urban county hospital are at increased risk of adverse outcomes from heart failure. This project will be based on a retrospective chart review of patients at the Parkland Memorial CHF clinic. My goal for the participating medical student is for him/her to develop skills in epidemiology and statistical analysis of databases.
