Brief Description of Project:

The scope of this project is to simply describe our experience with written notification of patients of this side effect and to tabulate clinical outcomes. We are interested in knowing a) what percentage of our total initial mailing resulted in a response, b) of those patients reached, what was the distribution of the selection of the three options, c) of those choosing to remain on pergolide, what were the reasons, d) of those patients undergoing echocardiography as a result of our letter, what were the results, e) of those patients electing to switch to an alternate agonist, what is the number of patients switched to each alternate, and f) of those switching, what was the clinical result in terms of efficacy for the clinical problem being treated (either Parkinson's disease or restless leg syndrome)
