Project title: Genetics of Low Plasma Levels of LDL-Cholesterol

Brief Description of Project:

A family has been identified with a dominant inheritance of low plasma levels of LDL-cholesterol. This summer the family will be extended and a whole genome scan will be performed to identify a genomic region inherited in common by all family members with low plasma levels of LDL-cholesterol.
