Brief Description of Project:
Non-Adherence to prescribed drug regimens in the elderly is a common problem, which results in decreased efficacy and is associated with increased individual and societal medical expenditures. Reasons for non-adherence vary according to the population examined. The purpose of this study is to identify variables affecting risk for medication non-adherence in an indigent, largely minority elderly population.
