Interobserver and Intraobserver variation in the measurement of isthmic spondylolisthesis between film and high definition monitor images of digital radiographs.

Project Type patient-based

Brief Description of Project: As a pre-trial, two spine surgeons and a medical student will make six measurements on five different sets of images of isthmic spondylolisthesis. The same digital image will be available on both film and on high definition computer monitor. All six measurements will be obtained on both formats. The measurements will be repeated after a two week interval. The data obtained will be taken to a statistician and determination of study size will be made by power analysis. The study will be performed under the same protocol as the pre-trial.
