Brief Description of Project:

This project is focused on the identification of the mechanisms of adiponectin-mediated effects in target tissues, such as liver and beta cells.
Methodologies employed:
A) Metabolic characterization of mouse models
B) Tissue-culture-based assays
C) Molecular biology based approaches (subcloning)
