Brief Description of Project:
Rhabdomyosarcoma is the most common and deadly childhood soft tissue malignant tumor. Little is known regarding the molecular underpinnings of rhabdomyosarcoma, a primary reason that no good therapies exist that are specific for the disease. My lab is dedicated to understand the pathogenesis of the disease, using invertebrate and cell culture model systems.
