Brief Description of Project:

We will be analyzing the data of all traumatic brain injury patients with orthopaedic fractures seen at Children's Medical Center Dallas from January 1, 2000 to December 31, 2007. The trauma registrar has provided the research team with this list of patients based upon the ICD-9 codes we provide. Data for each patient will be obtained from the Children's Medical Center Dallas electronic medical record, then analyzed to detect any correlations between hypothermia treatment and orthopaedic injury complications.
