Current research/areas of interest
Clinical trials evaluating interventions to improve obstetric outcomes in less developed regions, in addition to cost-effectiveness simulations and analysis. Focus on use of misoprostol and anti-shock garment as early treatment measures to reduce morbidity and mortality attributable to postpartum hemorrhage.

Professional trajectory
After completing an OB/GYN residency, Tori plans to work at an academic medical center in the U.S., serving indigent patients and conducting international clinical trials.
