The strength of the division has been recognized consistently by national rankings, such as that conducted by U.S. News & World Report. In 2000, Parkland was ranked 19th among Endocrinology divisions at all U.S. hospitals. Several of the faculty members in the division are listed among the Best Doctors in America.
Endocrine Grand Rounds is a series of lectures that covers a broad range of basic and clinical topics. The lectures are held on Wednesday mornings at 7:30 AM in J6.102. A schedule of the lectures can be found here. Category I CME credit is available for attendees.
The Fellow's Conference is a component of our Endocrinology curriculum. This conference combines a series of didactic lectures by the faculty with presentations (on clinical and research topics) by the fellows themselves. It is held each Friday at 1PM in conference room J6.102. A schedule of the upcoming lectures can be found here; a listing of the lectures from prior years can be found here.
The UT Southwestern Endocrinology and Metabolism Division has a total of 12 positions to support the training of Fellows in the Division. Approximately four are to be filled each year. Applications can be downloaded here.
